New Telephone System

 

We are delighted to announce that on 6th March (at some point during that day) we will be going live on a new telephone system.

What does this mean for you?

  • There will be no change to the telephone numbers you call however both Comberton and Eversden receptionists can answer calls coming into both sites from either location.
  • If we have more than 10 people in the queue you will be given the option to receive a call back from the surgery when you reach the front of the queue
  • You will be given improved menu options to speak directly to the teams within the practice, for example medical secretaries who deal with NHS referrals and prescription enquiries
  • Please note different departments will be available at different times of the day and you will be informed of this when selecting the option. You should then call back when they re-open rather than call reception
  • You will not hear an engaged tone owing to it being a cloud based system
  • On our go live day the transfer from the old system to the new may slow our service at times and we will have engineers on site all day. We thank you for your patience and understanding
