2019/20
PUBLICATION OF EARNINGS
All GP practices are required to declare the mean earnings (eg average) for GPs working to deliver NHS services to patients at each practice.

The average pay for GPs working at the COMBERTON SURGERY in the last financial year before tax and national insurance is 24,417

This is for 2 full time GPs and 5 part time GPs who worked in the practice for more than 6 months.

It should be noted that the prescribed method for calculating earnings is potentially misleading because it takes no account of how much time doctors spend working in the practice, and should not be used to form
any judgement about GP earnings, nor to make any comparison with any other practice.

We would like to apologize to all our patients for the unacceptably slow service from the dispensary. We are aware that we have been unable to fulfil the turnaround times for repeat prescriptions that we had promised, and we are also aware that many patients have had to queue for long periods of time to collect their medication.

We have been facing unprecedented demand at a time when we are looking to recruit a new dispensary manager and when we have had high levels of staff sick leave.

Please be assured that we are taking active steps to improve the dispensary and we hope to be able to provide a better service in the New Year.
