Our practice has recently joined the Dementia Action Alliance – this is an organisation which helps businesses to become more aware accessible to people with dementia. Most of our staff have now completed training which makes them “Dementia Friends”.
As part of our commitment to becoming more dementia friendly, we are planning to install some dementia-friendly signs in our surgeries. You can find our more about the project here: http://www.dementiaaction.org.uk/
