In addition to providing general medical services, the Practice also undertakes the continuing education and training of Health professionals working at the Practice. We also teach medical students and nurses from Addenbrooke’s NHS Trust.
In April 2010 Comberton and Eversden surgery were approved for postgraduate general practice speciality training.
Dr Wheatley is the GP trainer and Dr Kent the Associate GP trainer.
We will have a registrar working with us for 6 or 12 months as part of their speciality training. At times they will be directly observed by Dr Wheatley or Dr Kent in a joint surgery as part of their assessment.

The practice partakes in research trials. We are registered to participate in clinical research.
